When it comes to water resistance, we aimed to create a speaker that withstands getting wet repeatedly. We used IPX7 as a benchmark and pushed the standards even further. We rigorously tested the speaker in various conditions. It's built to withstand a fall into a pool or even the ocean. Don’t panic if it drops in; just pull it out and press play.

Materials Matter
Accidents happen, but that doesn't mean your speaker should break when they do. That’s why we chose high-quality silicone rubber for the exterior of the Bose SoundLink Micro Bluetooth speaker. This premium material helped us eliminate as many seams as possible while providing protection against scratches and cracks. This means true portability—adaptable to any conditions, wherever you go.

Bose Connect App 
You can easily control the SoundLink Micro Bluetooth speaker using the Bose Connect app. Got a friend who loves being the DJ? You can switch devices through the app and let them take control of the speaker.

When high volume isn’t enough, you can use the Bose Connect app to pair two SoundLink Micro speakers in Party Mode. Or switch to Stereo Mode. Instruments and vocals naturally distinguish themselves, making the music even more emotional.

Battery
Other speakers might have batteries that last a bit longer, but our speaker has a battery that delivers impeccable bass. All this while providing 6 hours of listening with deep, ample, and lively sound.

Instead, we used materials like silicone to create a seal around the technology inside. It’s rated to IPX7 standards—and exceeds them!
